Here’s the latest YouTube video I posted. It’s Part Two of making a Christmas journal.
In this video, I add lots of ephemera to the journal. Pockets, belly-bands, ribbon, and more! Most of the items I’m using in this journal are from Joey Cardmaker over on Etsy. Be sure to check out his shop!
Part Three is coming soon. I’m slowly getting the hang of using my camcorder. I need to work on lighting next. But hey: I’m learning!
I will be adding more ephemera (tags, etc.) to the journal and will be deciding on a topper.
The journal closure will also be created — I have some ideas; just not 100% sure what I’m going to decide on.
Also, I’ve started a Ko-Fi Shop. It’s an alternative to Etsy and I want to try it out.
I invite you to visit the shop and share your feedback.
The shop is just getting started, so you won’t find too many items for sale. I plan to sell journals, tag kit supplies, coffee-dyed paper, and vintage book pages. Oh, and some vintage books too. I have a lot of them in my craft space and I REALLY need to de-stash / de-clutter. It’s one of my top goals for 2025.
I hope you are doing well. The month is just flying by, isn’t it?
Are you making a Christmas journal this year? What about gift tags? Or other paper crafts?
Whew! Still a lot to do here at our house. My wife is wrapping gifts and will be baking cookies and candy in the next few days. She came down with the flu a few days ago and it has really put her behind. Uggh.
How about you? I hope you’re well.
Please: leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you; and I promise to reply.
Wishing you a very happy holiday season. ❤️
