For those of us who live in the States, Thanksgiving is just three weeks away.
There are lots of things to get done between now and then and the hustle-bustle of the holiday season will start soon. Uggh.
Don’t get me wrong: I love the holidays; but I don’t like them happening at 1,500 miles per hour. Can you relate?
I’d like to blame it all on those big-box retailers. Summer isn’t even over and they have back-to-school stuff out. Then it’s Halloween and then BAM!
Christmas trees and all the decorations seem to appear over night.
In fact, the Christmas section of my local Walmart has had their holiday section full of Christmas stuff for a few weeks already — way before Halloween.
A Month Of Gratitude
I’m going to try REALLY HARD to slow things down. At least in my head.
Thankful for so many things, I’m going to take a few minutes every day to stop and really appreciate what I have.
And, more than the ‘things’, it’s the PEOPLE that I’m most thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
